Arabic Font Design: Mouajanat

During a 6-week Arabic Type Design Workshop in Beirut, Lebanon, I learnt the basics and history of Arabic type & script. At the end of the course, each participant was tasked to create an Arabic font using Glyphs, I created Mouajanat, a font inspired by the Ruqaa script, a handwritten style used by the masses in Arab countries because of its speed of writing, its usage commonly spotted in signs and menu boards.
